Twirled for 4 years as a member of the Kailua High School Majorettes and Flag Twirlers and
in her senior year was selected captain.  During her tenor the team won many 1st and 2nd
place awards in the Aloha Week and Fourth of July Parade competitions.

Her mission is to give back to students what baton twirling has given her in the areas of
skill, discipline, self confidence and a healthy sense of social and individual responsibility.

You will see Sassafras "Get-Twirl Hawaii" baton corps volunteering at local community,
public and private events.

She says, "I am absolutely honored to be working with such awesome youth and adults and
delighted to be a pioneer in returning the sport of baton twirling to the Sate of Hawaii!
